Our Rooms and Daily Life

Our Rooms and Daily Life at Ibstock Nursery

We offer carefully designed spaces tailored to each stage of development. Every room supports your child’s curiosity, confidence and independence.

Happy Hedgehogs (0–2 years)

Our bright, welcoming Baby Room includes messy play, quiet areas, home corner and a separate sleep room. Staff celebrate every milestone with parents and provide a nurturing start to your child’s journey.

Friendly Foxes (2–3 years)

Children build independence through accessible toilets, personal pegs, and self-care routines. Staff foster wellbeing through fun play, stories and structured routines.

Friendly Foxes Intent:

  • Promote greater independence (e.g. putting on coats)
  • Encourage self-care and hygiene pride

Wise Owls (Pre-School)

We offer a free-flow environment that blends child-led and adult-led activities. With thoughtful routines, varied equipment and changing resources, Wise Owls helps children prepare for school with confidence and independence.

Mighty Oaks (Out of School Club, ages 4–11)

Our wraparound provision includes Before & After School Care and Holiday Club. Children enjoy creative, sporty, and messy activities in a safe, friendly setting.

We follow the EYFS statutory framework and Birth to Five Matters, encouraging development through play.
